I really like banana milkshakes but purchasing the pre-made jars turn out to be expensive. I have been using Nesquik powder but wanted to try out the Asda banana milkshake since it costs less than Nesquik and has larger portions, coming in a bigger tub.
To prepare the milkshake, pour a glassful of cold milk and scoop out about two or three large spoonfuls of Asda banana shake powder. Personally, after two weeks of trial and error mixings, I discovered that three scoops and a half of milkshake powder results in the perfect taste for me. In contrast, my wife uses just about two large spoonfuls and says that it tastes really good for her. The Asda powder blends very well with the milk, and is not troublesome at all to mix. There are no blobby clumps or powdery residue at the bottom of the glass when you drink it. If you’re always in a hurry, mix your shake using a fork rather than a spoon. It’s more efficient.
Once properly mixed, the first thing you will notice is that the Asda shake doesn’t hold much difference from Nesquik. Of course, Nesquik is more expensive. The Asda banana milkshake is delicious, with a sweet, lovely but strong banana flavor. Although It will not taste like a fresh banana, it resembles the fluffy and yummy taste of foam banana delicacies available at supermarkets. I think it’s really great how this milkshake can transform a blah and boring glassful of milk into one that tastes yummy and smells good at the same time.
Some people would perhaps find this milkshake too sweet. But this can be managed with the amount you mix into your glassful of milk. By using 20 grams of milkshake powder and mixing about 200 milliliters of skimmed milk, you get a glassful containing 167 calories along with three grams fat. This computation looks pretty good to me. The only alarming thing is that because I like the taste so much, I have to control myself from consuming four to five glassfuls each day! Now, that’s scary!
My usual box containing 350 grams cost me about £1.28. This is such a good bargain for me and great value for money because Nesquik’s 300-gram box cost £1.67. I highly recommend this product considering its added benefits, like more folic acid and Vitamin C! Asda is great!
I am currently under a three-month weight loss regimen under the guidance of Herbalife. I actually didn’t know Herbalife was sponsoring programs when I enrolled. Subsequently, I have purchased several of their products. The very first Herbalife I tried was Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix. It is said to promote weight management and sound nutrition.
My favorite flavor is French vanilla, which I find really yummy. I simply scoop in some almond mix. Or sometimes soy. Then I drink it really chilled and I end up having a really tasty treat for snacks/breakfasts/meals. The Herbalife program instructs that one or a couple of shakes each day is preferable. I regularly take one Herbalife shake everyday and strictly follow my prescribed caloric intake each day.
My favorite Herbalife shake costs me $35.00 per canister containing 26 ounces. This translates to about 30 shakes for each container.
The Herbalife coaches teach that all of us require protein all the time. They therefore recommend Healthy Meal Nutritional Shake Mix for its protein content. This shake contains 180 calories when mixed with about 8 oz. of non-fattening milk; no cholesterol; about 1 gram consisting of fat; 140 milligrams of sodium; sugar comprises 9 grams; and another 9 grams containing protein.
Since starting on my Herbalife regimen, I have shed about 28 pounds and am planning to shed another 20 more. This plan is a piece of cake! I substitute lunch and breakfast with Herbalife shakes, and I usually eat fruit together with it. I like grapefruits best. For dinner I usually have a huge salad. Although my choices are not exactly limited to just salads. I can practically eat anything I like for supper. A couple of times a week my family goes out for dinner and I simply eat as much as I feel like eating. When I’m really, really full, then I can’t wait to revert to my breakfast diet.
I have an 18-year-old niece who was itching to try the Herbalife chocolate shake, after all the good stuff she has heard about the product. Now she’s practically hooked on Herbalife. She is actually pretty slim and doesn’t need to shed extra pounds. With Herbalife, you can maintain your ideal weight. You can even gain weight if you want – the lean-type muscle mass, that is.
I had the misconception that if I work out in the gym two hours everyday, it will make my physique toned and lean. Usually, after I get up in the morning, I would attend my classes, after which I would do my routine at my gym, then spend the rest of my time hanging out with pals. I wasn’t especially concerned about going on a particular diet. However, after some time, I noticed that even though I intensively worked out, my physique wasn’t how I wanted it to look. So I started researching on the Net to discover how to look the way I wanted. I realized there was an almost limitless number of supplements I wasn’t even aware existed. I was actually turned off by these supplements because it gave me the impression that they could be potentially harmful. You know how it is on the Internet these days, people utilize unscrupulous ways to make money including selling things that could be harmful to people. After several weeks of research, I found nothing which was apt for what I thought I wanted and needed. I did discover, however, that most people’s diet was based on a particular protein diet. So I read up. I learned that protein-based supplemental shakes could be an effective way to take protein without consuming other forms of fats. Although pork and meat provide protein, they simply contain too much fat and cholesterol.
I decided right there and then that the solution I needed was to select a protein supplement and make it an alternative for my meals. Most of the protein shakes I was looking at were expensive, and beyond the price that I could afford. Then, EAS’ protein powder caught my attention. Reading from the package, EAS has three protein types which may be utilized for various stages of the process in muscle building. I bought the product for $30.
After I tried it, I found that it tasted awful – like expired chocolate milk. But because I believe that things that are helpful would naturally taste bad, I have been taking EAS for the past 12 weeks. And guess what? It didn’t have any good effects in the least bit. My body is not leaner nor stronger. It made me wonder because I did exactly as the instructions told me. Wasn’t it bad enough that it tasted nasty? Heck, it didn’t even work! One side effect it did give me was I farted 30% more than I normally do (and its smell was fatally worse!). I thought that perhaps I would be one of the unfortunate few who are not able to properly digest EAS. Now, I wish I opted for the other sweet-looking shakes, at least it would taste better. I console myself with the thought that perhaps EAS’ good effects need more time to kick in but I am not even willing to wait around for that. I don’t even understand where EAS’ protein comes from.
So, if you searching for a protein supplement keep off EAS Shake powder!!! A friend of mine tried the vanilla (mine was chocolate). According to him, vanilla tastes even worse. I will just finish this pack I bought because it was so darned expensive!
